About Me I am a 19 year old high school graduate living in Londonderry, N.H. I have a 1994 V8 S10 Blazer. I used to have a 1986 V8 S10 Blazer, but I sold it because the previous owner hacked the crap out of it. Motor and rear end went before I got rid of it. I just got a 1993 Ford Ranger project. I started getting interested in cars around the 7th grade. Around 11th grade I started hanging out with more people who liked cars and trucks just as much as I did and my passion grew even more. My Uncle Greg is the only other car nut in my family besides myself. Everything I know about cars was either taught to me by myself or by my boyfriend, Billy, who taught everything he knows about them to himself. The Whipple Supercharged 2007 Ford Mustang is his. At one point I was really into imports and loved cars like WRX STI's, EVOs, Skylines, and SVXs, cars like that. But not so much anymore. Now I fully lean more towards domestic cars and trucks rather than imports. I love Mustangs, S10s, Rangers, Shelbys, Malibus, Chevelles, Novas, 'Cudas, Challengers, Chargers, GTXs, etc. you know? Gotta love 'em.

Accessories & Modifications
The truck is a rear wheel drive and was originally a 4.3 Liter V6 Throttle Body Injected with a 5 speed manual transmission. My boyfriend spent over 300 hours and countless $$$ building this truck. It is one of cleanest, nicest s10 V8 swaps around. It gets compliments everywhere. The truck now has a 5.7 Liter 350 ci Vortec V8 from a 1996 Chevy K1500. It still features Throttle Body Injection which makes it daily driver reliable and still delivers 24 mpg highway, the TBI intake and distributor came from a 1992 Chevy Caprice police car. The intake has been ported and gasket matched to the heads. The engine has a 480 lift Comp Cam and a noisy gear drive timing set. It also has a stage 2 Hypertech computer chip. Horsepower is rated at 350. The engine is mounted in with the Transdapt S10 V8 mounts, no hacked weld jobs here. It also has the Hedman V8 swap headers. If it wasn't for the chrome and polished parts, under the hood looks like it came that way from the factory. It is a factory non a/c truck. The truck has a 160 degree thermostat and dual electric pusher fans, it runs at 160 degrees all day long, even in summer. The transmission is the stock five speed which was all rebuilt and resealed when the V8 was swapped in about 3,000 miles ago, a new heavy duty clutch was put in too. The truck will burn the tires into third gear and chirp fourth. The driveshaft has all new heavy duty u-joints. The rear end is the stock housing with new axles, an Auburn posi unit and Richmond 3.73 gears. The exhaust is dual 2.5 inch from the headers into single chamber Summit Race mufflers, the exhaust dumps before the rear end. The suspension is all Belltech, the front is dropped 4 inches with drop spindles and drop springs, the rear is dropped 5 inches with drop leaf springs, no drop blocks. It has Belltech Nitro-Drop shocks front and rear. The truck rides like a Caddy and handles like a Vette. The wheels are Weld Drag-Lites with 15x4 front wheels with 165R15 tires, the rears are 15x8" with 275/60R15 BFGoodrich Radial T/A's. The truck used to be Grey and was professionally painted Black last year, including all door jambs. The truck has a Goodmark fiberglass 2.5 inch cowl induction hood and a fiberglass roll pan. The front bumper is a 1987 style without the old ugly plastic strip. The interior was swapped over to leather from a 1994 Oldsmobile Bravada. The stock rear seat was recovered to match the fronts. It has the factory 110mph speedo with an aftermarket AutoMeter Tachometer. It also has matching AutoMeter Volt, Oil Pressure, and Temp guages that are not currently installed but will be soon. The truck is a trophy winner and is the advertisement for the business my boyfriend is starting up. He will be custom building S10 V8's as well as other custom cars.

Vehicle Showcase This S10 Blazer did a 15.8 with it's original V6. I haven't brought it up to the track with its V8 yet, I know it will do well. I'll bring it to the track in the Spring. |

Future Plans I have to re-tint the back hatch window because the previous owner had it un-tinted. I want to tint the doors' windows too. It also needs a sound system in it; a CD player and a sub woofer. |
