General Vehicle Comments I bought my 1999 Camaro in March of 2005. Since the very first day, I had plans for this car. A friend of mine invited me to go Autocrossing with him, and with that I've wanted to enter my Camaro into Autocrossing as well. I raced it during the SCCA-CPR 2006 Autocross. My best time was 71 seconds, with my friend racing 67 seconds. Not bad for my first year, or so I was told.
